These Scenarios are the result of six years in Florence sculpting in wax to produce moulds for bronze figures and portraits.
Ever reluctant to throw out anything I began to restore those little wax figures which had been broken and damaged by the mould making process.
The years spent painting people and places began playback in my mind, and I wanted to put the figures into context, as if they were figures in a painting of a café, or a train carriage, or a bathroom…
