Dario Tazzioli, sculptor from Frassinoro, a small town close to Modena, is making a copy in Carrara marble of the Mother and Child by Paddy Campbell. The sculptor works exclusively with ancient techniques and hand tools, forged and tempered especially in his own studio. The work in progress sculpture is on display at Palazzo Medici Riccardi for the whole period of the exhibition.

During July and August, Dario will perform live demonstrations of the work on the marble every Saturday and Sunday (until the end of the exhibition) from 9am till 18pm.
